
Jonathan Gartner
Jonathan Gartner previously worked with ABN Amro / LaSalle in North America, Europe and Asia in wholesale banking client and market facing positions as well as in senior COO roles. Subsequently became the founding COO/CAO for Navis Capital, the preeminent Asia based and focused private equity firm; served as chief investment advisor for Ping, an independent energy company; then became the COO for LEAP Innovations, a non-profit working in the nexus of education and technology; and recently served as interim CEO of Marbanc International, a financial services holding company.
He is currently Mentor in Residence at UCSB's CNSI, Chair of the Board of Sustainable Change Alliance, a California based impact oriented angel investing group, and advisor to a number of private investment firms. He is also a Board Member and Finance VP of Congregation B'nai Brith and serves as an Industry Side Financial Arbitrator for FINRA.
Jonathan brings expertise in driving change in larger more traditional organizations, and instituting processes and structure in smaller and newer firms; has experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, internal strategic change programs and external joint ventures; is focused on operational excellence, compliance and control; and has a wide range of experience across geographies, markets, industries and cultures.
