Joost Thesseling
Joost Thesseling has thirty years of experience in consulting, finance and private equity investing. From 2000 to 2022, Joost was a managing director and partner at CI Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm. At CI Capital, he focused on investing in family and entrepreneur-owned companies in the logistics, distribution and business and consumer services sectors and helped management teams achieve significant organic and inorganic growth by consolidating fragmented industries.
Joost served as a chairman and/or board member at over twenty companies, As a board member, he focused on building high-caliber management teams, implementing the organizational and reporting infrastructure necessary to accelerate growth and making investments in technology to enhance or transform business models.
Prior to CI Capital, Joost held various roles in finance, strategic planning and mergers & acquisitions at Engelhard Corporation. Prior to Engelhard, he worked in mergers & acquisitions advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United States and Europe. Joost has served on the board of directors of the National Summer Learning Association and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He holds a MSc. in Business Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
